Salary $76,679.45 - $115,019.18 Annually Job Type Full-time Job Number 25DOCCR429LV08 Division ASSS Supervised Release Opening Date 01/27/2025 Closing Date 2/10/2025 11:59 PM Central Description The Adult Specialized Supervision Services (ASSS) division of the Department of Community Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCCR) is seeking a Corrections Unit Supervisor in the Supervised Release Unit. This position will supervise nine parole agents responsible for clients released from state prisons while still under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Corrections. This position will be responsible for implementing and sustaining agent skill development in utilizing Evidence-Based Practices (EBP). This includes motivational interviewing, supervisor coaching, and cognitive skills interventions. This individual is expected to demonstrate inclusivity in their work and contribute to creating an inclusive environment. Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both onsite at the Brookdale facility at 6125 Shingle Creek Pkwy Suite #300, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430, and remote as job duties require. Typical work hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with flexibility in hours and infrequent evening or weekend hours. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. Click here to view the job classification specification. In this position, you will: Supervise nine parole officers with caseloads that are 40 clients to one agent. Support EBP efforts and effectively communicate changes to the unit. Approve violations reports and other court documents. Serve as a resource across the department and promote excellent relationships with stakeholders, the court, and other criminal justice partners. Facilitate staff meetings, case consultations, performance management, and evaluations. Serve on various committees.
