We are currently seeking a Construction Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our growing Construction group in our Minneapolis, MN or St. Paul office. This position contributes to SRF innovation and lasting solutions by providing construction administration services for municipal streets and utilities, state and county highways, freeways, bridges, parks, trails, and related facilities. Responsibilities: Perform contract administration for highway/municipal/projects. Oversee field inspection and testing staff. Prepare contract changes and evaluate contractor claims. Review construction contractor schedules. Responsible for managing projects on a consistent basis including creation, organization, execution and completion of construction oversight projects. Develop and maintain positive client relationship. Assist with construction group management and growth Qualifications: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Licensed Professional Engineer, or ability to become a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Minnesota within one year of accepting a position is preferred. Previous experience with administration of contracts for highway and municipal infrastructure projects with Minnesota state-aid funding, and federal funding is preferred. Ideal candidates are self-starters with excellent communication skills. Independent judgment in solving construction challenges. Knowledge of construction inspection and documentation procedures related to roadway, utility, and bridge construction. Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand / walk for long periods of time, and to work in a variety of outdoor weather conditions is required. Preferred Qualifications: Served as Project Engineer for multiple successfully completed MnDOT, federal-aid, or Minnesota state-aid projects. Minimum 10 years of experience. Salary Range: $95,000 - $120,000* * Individuals meeting the preferred qualifications will be considered for a salary above the advertised range. Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, job location, internal equity, market analysis, and specific qualifications relevant to the role.
