CNC Machinist

Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to operate primarily vertical mill Matsuura machines with FANUC controllers. The role also involves running some horizontal machinery, with a focus on 3, 4, and 5 axis mills. The company operates as a job shop, performing work primarily for military and defense sectors, including the manufacture of computer cabinets for aircraft and military ships.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Machine Shop - very clean, military contractor. The medium-sized shop includes assembly, quality, and machining areas. Initially, candidates will work on 2 and 3 axis machines, with the opportunity to progress to 5 axis machines. Candidates must be comfortable with this progression.
