Hiring for a CNC Machinist in the Fridley, MN Area! 1st shift, DIRECT PLACEMENT ROLE!

Job Description

• Operate 14 Vertical Spindle CNC Machining Centers with table sizes up to 60 inches.

• Operate 3 Bridgeport Mills.

• Utilize Virtual Programming to program machines from customer electronic files.

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Follow GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.

• Assemble and ensure the precision of machined components.

Skills/Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a machine shop environment.

• Degree in Machine Tool or CNC.

• Proficiency in reading blueprints.

• Knowledge of GD&T standards.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication skills.

Work Environment

This position is in a machine shop environment, working with a small team of 13 people on the floor. The dress code is casual (T-shirt and jeans).
