UMPhysicians Clinic RN Specialist (Ophthalmology) - Part Time in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Our dedicated Eye Care team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Orthoptists and Nurses, along with Certified Technicians and Assistants, provide next level diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the eye using state of the art technology. Our providers specialize in various ophthalmology and optometry subspecialties including Cornea and Refractive Surgery, Glaucoma, Neuro Ophthalmology, Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and Vitreoretinal Disease. Our all-inclusive approach ensures our present and future patients receive the best outcome possible. What you will do as a Clinic RN Specialist: Assesses patient needs and identifies anticipated nursing outcomes Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other health care team members Implements nursing interventions based on care plan Delivers care as delegated by physician/authorized practitioner to assigned patients What you will need: Associate's (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and current Minnesota RN license BLS certification 5+ years of hospital or clinic experience, or 2+ years of specialty/critical care experience with specialty certification Experience with electronic health record systems Location: Phillips-Wangensteen Building - 516 Delaware Street SE Minneapolis, MN 55455 Hours: 32 hours / week Benefits: This is a fully benefit eligible position: Competitive wages, Healthcare (including vision & dental), 401K, parking & tuition assistance and more! #RN University of Minnesota Physicians (M Physicians), a non-profit organization headquartered in Minneapolis, seeks motivated individuals for both clinical and non-clinical roles to drive innovation in health and medicine.
