Job Title: Civil Drafter

Job Description

• An Architectural and Engineering firm in Minneapolis is looking to add to their internal Civil Drafter team. This individual will work with different Project Managers and departments to design and complete client designs for new buildings and renovations to existing buildings. Responsibilities include preparing and creating construction documents for stormwater management, preliminary layout, roadway layout, parking layout, site grading, paving, utility location, and services. This individual will create these drawings within Civil3D.

Hard Skills

• Civil3D design experience 3+ years

• Land Development 1+ years

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota and some days remote.

Work Environment

The civil engineering team is in Minneapolis and Madison, and it is one of the smallest teams/disciplines with about 6-7 people total. They work on projects across the country and support multiple office locations. The firm offers a hybrid schedule with no set policy on office or remote days, though more people are returning to the office. Optional summer hours on Fridays are available as long as work is completed. The downtown office is located in the North Loop, with parking options and close proximity to the light rail.
