Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our fast-growing team and organization. This role will be instrumental in helping shape the vision and strategy of our BI program. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning data into knowledge, providing data-driven insights that influence strategic decisions, and helping to drive the execution of our BI vision. The BI Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs, develop reports, and maintain dashboards that enable effective decision-making. They will also play a key role in advancing our BI capabilities, exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance our data analysis and reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.

• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can help in strategic decision-making.

• Collect business requirements from various teams and stakeholders and translate them into technical requirements for BI projects.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data audits and validations.

• Contribute to the development and execution of the BI strategy and roadmap.

• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards and provide technical support as needed.

• Collaborate with departments across the organization (IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure data needs are met and data-driven decisions are made.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes across the organization with technology solutions.

• Stay current with industry trends and BI technologies to ensure Provation is leveraging the best tools and methodologies.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

• 3+ years’ experience as business intelligence analyst, data analyst, financial analyst or related roles

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, data analytics, finance or related field

• Proven ability to take initiative and be proactive, with the desire to grow and learn

• Experience working for a fast-paced growing company

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross functionally at various levels within a company

• Excellent analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skills

• Attention to accuracy and detail required

• Software / SaaS industry experience preferred

• Experience within a publicly traded company preferred

Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:

• Power BI / Microsoft Fabric / Power Platform

• DAX Data Modeling

• Relational Database Design

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Salesforce / NetSuite experience a plus

• SQL / Python / R (nice to have)

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 63,000.00 - 117,000.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
