Sun Country Airlines is seeking a Part-Time Baggage Coordinator to track and reunite lost and/or delayed baggage and/or items with their owner while providing excellent customer service. PT Baggage Coordinator Overview: The Baggage Coordinator is responsible for the full life cycle of lost and/or delayed baggage. These responsibilities include customer service, tracking, and reuniting lost and/or delayed baggage and/or items with their owner. Essential roles and responsibilities of a PT Baggage Coordinator: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Provide exceptional customer service written and verbally to customers related to lost and/or delay baggage Communicate status updates to customers regarding delayed luggage or claims process Process applicable claim forms to ensure lost and/or delayed baggage is properly documented Manage lost, delayed, and baggage left on board to resolve claims in a timely manner Assess financial vs. service cost in returning delayed baggage/item Update tracing and reservations software for awareness for all internal departments, other carriers, and baggage team on customers claim Update reports pertaining to lost and/or delayed baggage and/or items Appropriately document and track physical inventory, exercising care and privacy Provide exceptional customer service when contacting customers to provide status or collect information to resolve claims Any other duties assigned by management The qualifications we are looking for in a PT Baggage Coordinator include: Previous Customer Service experience Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities Ability to be self-motivated and a team player in a fast-paced environment Strong communication verbal and written, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines Microsoft office suite and familiarity with airline applications Must have the ability to work flexible work hours including availability to work nights, holidays and weekends Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
