There are more than 600 student-athletes and nearly 300 full-time employees in our athletics department. About the U of M Employee would engage in working with several different Units in the Athletics Department. 1.)Athletics Business Office 2.)Golden Gopher Fund 3.)Human Resources 4.)Sport of Volleyball The staff member would perform the following duties in each Unit: Athletics Business Office-tasks would be assigned by the Assistant AD/Business Operations-e.g. Tracking for (Gopher Sports Properties) GSP contracts in the sports of FB, MBB, WBB, VB, Soccer, M/W Hockey, etc. Assist with paying vouchers. The Golden Gopher Fund would have duties specifically on Football Game days (Thursday, August 29th, Saturday, September 7th, Saturday, September 14th, Saturday, September 21st & Saturday, October 5). The staff member would be assigned to the visiting Athletics Director & their Staff in their game day suite and around the stadium during the football game. Human Resources -the staff member would assist the HR staff in preparing and disseminating "offer letters" to current & new Athletics staff members and other duties as assigned. The Sport of Volleyball and Head Coach Keegan Cook would have the staff member assist in practice sessions and general operation of the program, as is permitted by NCAA legislation and as the preferred candidate, has availability. Short Term -Temporary/Casual Hourly Worker. Time Frame of Worker: Late July through Mid-October, 2024. 20 hours a week, $15.25 an hour.
