Responsibilities will include 70% clinical care (divided 60% Pediatric, 40% Adult). Additional responsibilities (30%) will include teaching medical students, residents and fellows; engaging in productive interdisciplinary and inter-institutional clinical and/or research activities; and assisting in developing an Allergy/Immunology fellowship training program. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Qualifications include board certification or board eligibility in Allergy & Immunology, a minimum of two years of fellowship training in Allergy & Immunology, board certification in General Pediatrics or Internal Medicine, and medical licensure in Minnesota by starting date. Candidates must have demonstrated accomplishment in clinical service, education, and clinical/translational research. Advanced training and experience in the diagnostic evaluation and care of patients with suspected or defined inborn errors of immunity/primary immunodeficiencies is expected. Experience and interest in allergic and immunologic aspects of lung diseases, including asthma, is also expected. Experience establishing clinical care programs is highly desired. Preferred Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a record of excellence in clinical activities, including patient care, education, and clinical or translational research. About the Department Allergy & Immunology is the specialty focused on the evaluation and care of patients with allergic and immune-mediated diseases, including inborn errors of immunity.
