As an Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing advanced systems solutions for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and test complex systems that meet customer requirements. Your expertise in systems engineering will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Minnesota location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of advanced systems solutions, contributing to the success of our customers and the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and test complex systems

• Develop and implement advanced systems solutions that meet customer requirements

• Conduct system-level modeling and thoughtfulness to optimize system performance

  The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

  The annual base salary range for this position is $99,200 -$124,000 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

  U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

  Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

  YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

• 4+ years of Systems Engineering in Aerospace experience.

  WE VALUE

• Knowledge of Guidance & Navigation systems highly preferred

• Experience with DOORS

• Understand requirements decomposition to lower-level requirements

• Understanding of inertial instruments such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

• GPS experience highly preferred

• Degree in Systems, Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

• Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle

• Individual that can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts

• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

• Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the organization

• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done

• Ability to adapt to change with ease

• DoD experience a plus.

• Knowledge of CCA development/test, RS-422, Ethernet and/or ARINC 429 Serial Data Bus a plus.
