Our Downtown Minneapolis client is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their highly respected organization. In this exciting, permanent role, you will be joining a team of 7 and will handle a variety of accounts payable duties, including processing invoices, researching/resolving invoice discrepancies, review various reports, journal entries, and additional accounts payable and accounting duties as needed.

An ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. General office experience is preferred for consideration. Recent graduates are highly encouraged to apply for this permanent role!

This role is hybrid once trained, with capability to work from home 3 days/week after training period. Parking allowance is also offered for parking in their downtown location. Candidates must be current Minneapolis residents or have immediate plans to relocate to Minneapolis.

Beginning compensation for this role is $24-27/hr, with discretionary bonus potential. Full, competitive benefits are also offered including health, dental, vision, and 401k with match. If you are interested in this role, please apply directly for consideration!

Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) is essential

• Ability to handle check runs and coding invoices

• Excellent data entry skills

• Demonstrated experience in invoice processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

• Experience with check deposit procedures

• Knowledge of Vertafore ImageRight software

• Open to candidates with varying levels of experience, including those at entry level

• Degree in finance, accounting or related field is preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
