RBC 2025 Wealth Management Operations Summer Intern in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? We are actively seeking interns to support our Operations functions. Our Summer 2025 Internship Program is 10 weeks long, based in Minneapolis, MN, is a great opportunity to gain valuable work experience to complement your education. Our program includes learning sessions, social outings, volunteer work, career development, networking opportunities, exposure to executive leadership and more. As an intern in our Operations department with RBC Wealth Management, you will provide service and transaction processing support for the businesses within the organization. In this fast-paced and deadline driven environment, you will assist with providing an excellent service experience to our clients while also helping our team to support the growth of our firm. The work you perform will align with industry standards and will also enhance our controls and risk oversight model. This is an exciting opportunity with exposure to various areas within the organization. The 2025 program is based in Minneapolis, MN and runs from June 2nd - August 15th, 2025. Asset Services & Trade Support Corporate Actions, Pricing, Security Processing, Equity & Fixed Income Trade Support Cash & Lending Services Margin, Treasury Operations, Securities Based Lending, Cash Management Administration & Solution Services Cost Basis, Performance Reporting, Retirement Services, Management Reporting, Capacity Plans & Business Administration, Tax & Client Reporting, Control & Reconciliation Client Onboarding & Product Services Account Transfers, Transition Services, New Accounts, Document Processing, Document Imaging, Annuities, Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Investment Advisor Operations What will you do? Process transactions and data entry, while also assisting with reporting and quality checks. Provide exceptional customer service support for individuals requiring research and problem resolution. Deliver solutions by using resources and address escalated questions independently; seeking assistance from Team Lead or Manager as appropriate. Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting process changes and system modifications. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Final Presentation to leadership on a potential opportunity to increase efficiencies, elevate service or reduce risk What do you need to succeed? Must-have Sophomore, Junior or Senior (graduation dates May 2026 - May 2028) with a degree granted or expected in Business Administration, Finance, or another business-related discipline. Effective problem identification, analytical, and resolution skills along with proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products. Effective exceptions-based processing skills. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, excellent customer service skills, organizational skills, and superb attention to detail. Business, finance, customer service and/or accounting/bookkeeping experience. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment. Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship, which runs June to August (specific dates may vary) and reports to the Minneapolis, MN office What's in it for you?
