What you’ll do:

  • Run reports on overtime utilization in UKG and manage staff scheduling.

  • Run reports on turnover, vacancies, pay rates, etc for all sites in UKG.

  • Manage the launch of new functionalities in UKG.

  • Reporting on workers compensation claims status and trends analysis.

  • Mandatory location in the Minden office.

  • Partner and have joint ownership with Underwriting to select, retain, and grow a profitable book of business.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with Underwriting, Claim, Risk Control Specialists, and Brokers to service customers as a unified team.

  • Write technically detailed reports that communicate a clear assessment of risk and effectively articulate recommendations.

  • Discover and evaluate customer needs through loss analysis and customer readiness in order to provide Risk Control products and services to help control losses.

  • Stay current with technical subject matters, regulatory environment and emerging issues.

  • Create a valued customer experience through each assessment and service encounter.

  • Oversee leave administration and conversations with employees impacted by the above (knowledge of CA leaves laws, CFRA, PDL, PFL, FLMA, etc.) or need for accommodation based upon enterprise volume

  • Manage all safety measures needed for a healthy workforce regarding ergonomics requests, preventative guidance, wellness initiatives, and measuring ROI of wellness goals, including spearheading Safety Committee, and driving initiatives

  • Ownership of Workers Compensation process and all mandatory policies including IIPP and safety trainings, tracking trends and OSHA related updates.

  • Responsible for scheduling and running reports.

  • Drive safety awareness program and accident prevention program

To be considered, you should:

  • Have an undergraduate degree in environmental health and safety, engineering, construction management, basic sciences, or related technical fields required. (Graduate Degree Preferred).

  • Understand systems and ATS-UKG

  • System Administration experience in UKG.

  • Extensive experience in Workman's comp

  • Overall knowledge of HR and payroll processes.

  • 8+ years of experience in risk control or safety related positions in human services or healthcare.

  • Must have or be able to attain appropriate certification to meet specific state requirements where applicable.

  • Have exposure to law interpretation changes regarding Covid - CDC, OSHA, State Variances

  • Have knowledge of leave laws and accommodation laws.
