You will provide support for warranty operations.

• Process warranty related information in appropriate databases under limited supervision.

• Respond to request in a timely manner, performing due diligence checks prior to updates.

• Warranty Process - Analyzes customer issues to verify root cause of failure and associated progressive damage using Cummins published service information; interprets the warranty administration manual to determine eligibility for coverage and claim requirements; identifies items associated with repair that can be covered and communicates to stakeholders; files a claim in the appropriate system using proper documentation and requirements to receive accurate settlement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work jointly with other EBU engineering and sales teams anything around logistics which requires parts importing, inspection, and shipping no matter purposes those pare are used for production, aftermarket, VPI, and failed parts analysis. This position is expected to work for both of on-highway and off-highway businesses while expected to spend more time for on-highway business due to self-service OEM support.

This position to keep tracking changes for parts used for major OEM’s shop orders at the manufacturing plant with cross-checking updates to the service parts catalog.

This position to translate claim input from self-service on-highway OEM to Cummins warranty system regular basis.

Key job responsibilities will include:

• Parts logistics support under EBU/CBU business in Japan

• VPI Parts shipping

• Maintenance of spare parts or VPI parts for self-service OEM projects

• Failed parts shipping Arrangement

• Engineering Tools shipping arrangement

• Self Service OEM Plant shop order BOM tracking

• Self Service OEM custom parts catalog monthly update

• Claim trend analysis

Reading & Writing English Skillset, ideal to have verbal English communication.

Warranty Administrative qualification will be required before submit claim into the warranty system.
