Job Description Summary

The Sr. Manager – Cyber Security is accountable for responding to and engaging with our customers and partners’ requests around Information and Cyber Security or Cyber Security-related attributes of our products and services. In a total alignment with CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) and RISO (Regional Information Security Officer), this person will be responsible for providing precise consistent messages that clarifies our commitment to Cybersecurity to our customers and stakeholders by working closely with various cyber security and product teams across the board. He/She will act as the voice of the customer in Japan by connecting with industry experts and relevant policymaking entities. He/she will also be responsible for leading education and general knowledge level of Cyber Security for the entire commercial and services teams of the company, as well as continuously improving cyber crisis and incident playbooks, standards and processes. The candidate will work cross-functionally with leaders and representatives from different parts of the organization, leveraging both pre-made and raw materials to construct consistent knowledge archives.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Serve as a single point of contact for Customers’ inquiry on Information and Cyber Security for our company, products, and services.

Be the integrator and key point of contact for cyber security and cyber compliance in Japan while facilitating engagement and collaboration the Regional Information Security Officer.

Be the voice for the Japan from a cyber security perspective evaluating business/customer expectations, requirements, & interactions

Facilitate national communications and roll out of campaigns on policies, standards, procedures, standard certifications.

Finds opportunities for collaboration across the enterprise, ensuring that cross-team commitments are set, and achieves scale in his or her work efforts by enabling the work of others

Coordinate work with multiple teams to provide precise, accurate and consistent responses to customers by leveraging existing resources, with additional information and strategic decisions if needed, while ensuring total alignment with RISO of this Region.

Demonstrate strategic leadership on deployment and support strategies, growth opportunities and execution and utilization of resources, including compilation of risks and opportunities as relate to impacts of Cyber Security requirements on our products and services.

Develop and maintain a mechanism for accumulating knowledge and information provided to customers in the past and present. Make it available to all internal stakeholders to ensure messages are consistent throughout.

Educate commercial and services teams for basics and frequently asked questions around company cyber security to improve the customer turnaround and transparency.

Interface with business leaders, communicating complex technical material to non-technical audiences

Be an advocate of this area for in and out of the company, present at relevant industry forums, analyze the trend and regulation-related updates in the industry, and regularly make suggestions and reports to senior leadership team.

Develop cross-functional connections across the business through standardized processes and communication.

Education Qualification

Bachelor's Degree

Operational Requirements:

Ability to read/write and verbally communicate both in Japanese and in English with business-level proficiency.

Ability and willingness to travel across the country.

Desired Characteristics in area of Technical Expertise, Business Acumen, Leadership and personal Attributes.

• Knowledge of Japanese healthcare industry and work relationship among various hospital-based IT systems

• Ability to set and manage expectations with key stakeholders and team members

• Strong ability to prioritize and execute with minimal direction or oversight

• Exceptional critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills that properly qualify assessments with concise, relevant, and accurate communications

• Proven track record of successfully managing and executing on short term and long-term projects and the ability to establish rapport with various roles (executive management to deeply technical)

• Command a good understanding and experience in cyber security, risk management, and compliance concepts and processes.

• Ability to consult and influence stakeholders on alignment of outcomes and desired technical solutions

Advantages:

• CISSP, CISM or related GIAC certifications, or relevant technical experience preferred

• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST or other ISMS programs
