Maintain accurate inventory through the use of the warehouse management system. The Warehouse associate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and any tools, pumping systems used in the warehouse to complete tasks. Using forklift and/or pallet jacks to pick orders Receiving of vendor receipts and transfers Inspection materials for nonconformities Use the warehouse management system Operate hand jack or forklift to load trucks Wrap pallets Preparation of hazardous materials for shipment Pack cartons correctly and stack cartons on pallets Transfer bulk products into drums, totes and pails Follow work instructions as given by supervisor, line staff, or Quality Manual Report non-conformities to the supervisor Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience/Training: One or more years in warehouse setting preferred Strong attention to detail High Level of flexibility Knowledge of quality management system Knowledge of inspection processes Basic mathematical skills Licenses/Certificates: Forklift certification recommended not required - will certify within the Ascentek safety guidelines Technology/Equipment: Knowledge of WMS or ERP system preferred PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls.
