THE TUB DOCTORS INC Spray Technician in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: As a Spray Technician, you will be responsible for refinishing a wide range of fixtures such as bathtubs, sinks, counter-tops, fiberglass tubs and showers both in residential and commercial environments. Duties: -Refinish tubs, tile, counters, sinks, etc. according to contracts, schedule, safety procedures and labor instructions -Perform minor or major repairs from chipped to cracked surfaces -Follow established procedures and resolve issues in the field -Complete required production forms at the end of each day -Operate and maintain spray equipment -Utilize hand tools, power tools and other equipment as needed -Assist with sales of additional services to customers Hold or position spray guns to direct spray onto articles. Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers and decorative or finish coatings. Monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct their causes. Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths. Clean equipment and work areas. Apply rust-resistant undercoats and caulk and seal seams. Attach hoses or nozzles to machines, using wrenches and pliers, and make adjustments to obtain the proper dispersion of spray. Fill small dents or scratches with body fillers and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting.
