How you will help us create value together: As aSMART Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for a range of support activities for the Technical Services Group within Operations. This role will require support for development, integration and validation of applications and processes that impact the daily operations of an active discrete manufacturing plant. This role will work with a focus on transforming the manufacturing operations to integrate digital technology. This position will be based onsite at our South Harbor location in Milwaukee\'s Harbor District! The target start date for this role is Summer 2025 and has potential to be extended into the Fall 2025 school semester. We offer full-time hours during the summer and flexible part-time hours during the academic year. Key Job Responsibilities Understand Key applications for the business and serve as liaison to subject matter experts Support development/build/configuration and work with Komatsu and vendor resources to develop applications supporting business objectives Work with Komatsu and vendors to support Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) targeted applications; industrial Programable Logic Controls (PLC) and support equipment Document processes and procedures for deployment of new applications/interface developed to support operations Validate and manage integration between Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP...
