Description
We are offering an exciting Senior Tax Manager opportunity for an industry leading and growing Service company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Senior Tax Manager involves overseeing the preparation, review and management of non-income corporate tax returns, developing tax strategies, leading a team of tax professionals, collaborating with different departments, and managing audit and risk. CPA is required.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
• Lead a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and operations teams to assess the tax implications of business strategies and transactions.
• Manage interactions with tax authorities during audits and inquiries, and proactively assess and mitigate tax-related risks.
• Continuously enhance internal policies to align with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate complex tax scenarios, identifying opportunities for optimization and savings.
• Stay updated on legislative changes and interpret their implications for the organization.
• Provide clear and strategic tax advice to leadership and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication across departments to ensure tax considerations are integrated into decision-making processes.
Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a tax-related role
• Proficiency in ATX Tax Software
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
• Demonstrated ability to use compliance software effectively
• Auditing skills and experience
• Strong compliance skills and understanding
• Familiarity with IRS Form 1120F and IRS Form 1120S
• Experience preparing Form 1120-SF
• Ability to handle complex tax returns
• Understanding of corporate income tax
• Familiarity with CorpTax Software
• Experience with federal income tax and federal income tax returns
• Experience preparing federal tax returns
• Ability to prepare income tax returns
• Understanding of income tax compliance
• Experience with indirect tax compliance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required
