JOB REQUIREMENTS: Monitor system health, ensuring proactive measures are applied and issues are raised to the engineering team for resolution. Manage communications of outages, service impacts, and all other Splunk infrastructure-related events. Proactively monitor the Splunk infrastructure and follow an iterative, continuous improvement model. Perform after-action reports and root cause analysis reviews with the architecture and engineering teams. Prioritize tickets and timely resolution of issues. Monitor the monitoring console and develop new checks or continuously fine tune the checks and alerts. Perform routine software upgrades and minor releases. Adhere to the change control process and ensure that all work is documented. Regularly audit the authentication and authorization systems. Build a Splunk Hygiene Program that focuses on optimal searches and configuration. Monitor Splunk knowledge objects, DMAs, and user queries to ensure optimum performance. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience must include: 4 years working with Linux; 4 years of troubleshooting environments across an entire architecture; 3 years working with Bash,PowerShell, Python, Shell, JavaScript, and Ansible; Configuration, support, and implementation of Splunk SmartStore; Full stack troubleshooting; Managing Splunk infrastructure for a 100 terabyte data ingestion organization; ITIL application processes and implementation; Cloud computing; Continuous integration and continuous deployment, DevOps, and automation; and Developing and deploying Regular Expressions (REGEX). ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Other: Email resume to: Fiserv.Recruitment_Resume@fiserv.com.
