Primary Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people

  • Be able to interact with business users, I/T and customers to define application requirements

  • Be able to write the code and Review the code of the engineers

  • Involve in critical and complex technical discussions

  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment

  • Detail-oriented and ability to document low to highly complex functional designs and data structures, to support business and operational requirement

  • Candidate should be confident to work independently, handle and guide the team and should be self-motivated

  • The candidate should have good analytical and self-learning skills and desire to learn new technologies

  • Candidate should have strong experience with Mainframe Batch support, Control M, DB2 Database Administrator and production support of a large enterprise application

  • A great attitude and the passion and persistence to solve complex problems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science (or higher)

  • 3+ years of experience in the software engineering profession across entire SDLC

  • 3+ years of prior hands-on experience in Cobol, JCL, and Mainframe technologies

  • 3+ years of prior hands-on experience with Control-M for scheduling and running mainframe batches

  • 3+ years of experience with production support of Mainframe batch scheduling and monitoring

  • 3+ years of experience as Mainframe DB2 database administrator

  • 3+ years of experience working on Integrated Eligibility application processing Medicaid, CHIP, SNAP, and LIHEAP programs
