We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role falls within the Service industry. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization, performing various accounting duties such as account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and handling payroll for 101-500 employees.

Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliation duties to ensure accuracy in financial statements.

• Reconcile balance sheets, identifying any discrepancies and rectifying them promptly.

• Execute bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for.

• Maintain general ledger, recording all business transactions.

• Prepare journal entries as part of month-end close activities.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Handle month-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.

• Utilize various software such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Sage Intacct, and Sage Pro for financial management.

• Manage the payroll process for 101-500 employees, using systems like Paycom, ADP - Payroll.

• Participate in month-end financial reviews and prepare monthly account reconciliation reports.

Requirements • Applicant must have a minimum of 7 years of experience as an Accountant

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required

• The candidate should be familiar with Bank Reconciliations

• The role requires a strong understanding of General Ledger

• Ability to manage Journal Entries is necessary

• The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close is a must

• The candidate should be familiar with NetSuite

• Experience with Oracle is required

• Proficiency in SAP is a must

• The candidate should be familiar with Sage Intacct and Sage Pro

• Experience with Paycom is necessary

• Proficiency in ADP - Payroll is required

• The candidate must have experience in Payroll

• Should have handled Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees

• The role requires experience in Month-end Close Activities

• The candidate should be familiar with Month-end Financial

• Proficiency in Month-end Journal Entries is required

• Experience in Monthly Account Reconciliation is necessary

• Knowledge of Ground Transportation is a plus

• The candidate should have some experience in Transportation Logistics.
