Aerotek is hiring for a production supervisor.

Description:

• Strong communication skills to actively listen to stakeholders and clearly verbalize ideas and action plans.

• Excellent organizational skills to plan production schedules and ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.

• Strong analytical skills to determine problems within the production process and take appropriate action.

• Good time-management skills to minimize downtime and ensure a team works efficiently.

• The ability to cope with pressure and make sound decisions quickly.

• A firm understanding of health and safety regulations.

• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.

• Researches and negotiates with vendors and suppliers to improve efficiency of processes and reduce unnecessary costs.

• Conduct internal inspections, internal audits, GMP reports, shift reports, and any other tasks assigned.

• Consistently updating training documents and retraining current employees and new hires.

• Manage up to thirty operators, leads, and temps depending on production needs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

5-6 years of Production Supervision experience
