Then we want you to join the Maglio Companies team as our new ReadyFresh Production Supervisor. You will have a direct impact on our business each day by: Overseeing multiple shifts of operations of the FreshCut and processing departments Monitoring raw material and packaging to ensure supply and freshness to support production requirements Monitoring down time and identifying triggers and tactics to reduce controllable causes to improve line fill efficiences Training a crew to understand KPI\'s and implement goals and objects for crew leads to obtain results Maintaining a visible presence on the production floor to monitor machine operations and provide technical guidance during all production and sanitation phases. Participating in all aspects of the employee life cycle from hiring to training to termination and ensuring high levels of employee engagement Assuring compliance with all safety, GMP/HACCP, and policies To be successful you will need to: Have prior knowledge and experience in a Fresh Cut, perishable, ready to eat operation Strong leadership skills including a minimum of one year of experience leading hourly employees in a food manufacturing facility Strong computer skills including email, excel, and ERP system experience Ability to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis Ability to work weekends and extended hours Willingness to work in a cold (34 - 36F) environment For more information, or to apply now, you must go to the website below. Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers. Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as inspectors, machine setters, or fabricators. Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers. Evaluate employee performance. Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances. Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates, based on company policies, equipment and labor availability, and workloads. Calculate labor and equipment requirements and production specifications, using standard formulas. Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production results. Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services. Set up and adjust machines and equipment. Plan and develop new products and production processes.
