Our plans integrate policy, funding, and follow-through actions to support ongoing achievement of our clients\' vision and goals. DESCRIPTION The Design Hub by Michael Baker International is currently seeking a Planning Intern for our Milwaukee, WI location. Alternatively, this position can also be housed in our Madison office. The Planning Intern position will provide technical support for Michael Baker\'s multimodal transportation planning, community planning, urban design, and economic development services. The duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: * Provide urban support for a variety of urban planning studies and projects including but not limited to comprehensive plans, master plans, long range plans, transit development plans, feasibility studies, etc. * Provide multimodal transportation planning support in one or more of the following areas: surface transportation, public transportation, bicycle and pedestrian, Complete Streets, and Vision Zero. * Conduct analytical research with supervision on urban and transportation planning policy and public transportation programs and issues. * Develop and maintain project databases utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, and MS SQL server. * Conduct field work as required. COMPENSATION The approximate compensation range for this position is \$18.00 to \$25.00. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
