Job Overview We have an exciting opportunity for aPayroll Administratorto join our newly developed HR Operations team! Komatsu\'s HR Operations team provides support to North America in the areas of payroll, onboarding, offboarding, leave management, reporting, and HR analytics. This role will provide foundation-level skills in payroll administration and HR operations, with future career advancement opportunities available within each key areas of the team.The selected new team member should also enjoy working cross functionally between human resources, benefits, and the business, with ability to adapt their work to meet the needs of the day. Key Job Responsibilities Confirm data changes via automated process for employee changes such as new hires, terminations, & pay changes. Computing wage and overtime payments, calculating and recording payroll deductions and processing terminations. Update employees\' taxes, direct deposit, and other miscellaneous payroll entries using payroll system, UKG. Processing weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly payrolls for assigned employee groups, Analysis of payroll data to ensure error free processing. Payroll support on garnishments and levies. Develop and maintain relationships with Human Resources and Employee Benefits, as well as other business units throughout the United States Qualifications/Requirements High-school diploma (or equivalent) required, Associates level degreepreferred. 0-3 years of experience in Human Resources or Finance (preferred) Must possess strong Customer service and professional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read, comprehend and follow verbal instructions and ability to perform basic arithmetic and payroll calculations.
