JOB REQUIREMENTS: Operator - Milwaukee Bulk - 28920 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Description Equipment operator will operate heavy equipment (primarily a front-end loader) as well as other heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and conveyors in a bulk material handling environment. Responsible for operator level daily mechanical maintenance of heavy equipment. Other duties as assigned. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER STATEMENT: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Position Requirements Educational requirements: High school diploma or GED Job requirements: * Must have prior experience operating heavy equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, excavators, forklifts, and conveyors. * Must have a good mechanical aptitude. * Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions- majority of the time will be working outside. * Must be able to obtain and maintain a TWIC Certification. * The ability to work from written and verbal instructions. * Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules, as well as, take on other duties as assigned. * Must possess and maintain a valid driver\'s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. * Typical hours for this position are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and high level of performance. * Positively interact with customers and respond to customer inquiries. * Basic computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, various operating systems, and other company software). Physical requirements include but are not limited to: * Able to lift as much as 50 lbs. as high as waist level. Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and raise your body weight as high as 4 feet.
