JOB REQUIREMENTS: Discover. Achieve. Succeed. #BeHere Location: US: WI: MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 1.00 Shift: Shift 2 Monday-Friday 2p-1030p This position is eligible for a \$5K Sign-On Bonus Willing to train new grades! Job Summary: Performs MRI studies under the direction of a radiologist and oversight of a senior MRI Technologist. This individual interacts with imaging staff, nursing, physicians, patients and visitors. Acts as a resource person for MRI technical, and other issues, and demonstrates competence according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols. Operates MRI and related equipment, prepares scan room - equipment, supplies and medications. This individual also maintains images and archives associated with patient data. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: One to three years of experience is preferred. Willing to train new grades! EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year or four-year radiologic technology, or MRI program is required. Two or four year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree is preferred. TRAINING DESCRIPTION: Successful completion of a cross-sectional anatomy class is required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Ability and demonstrated competence in IV insertion and contrast injection; ability to assimilate new procedures into work routine is required. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: ARRT registered is required. Advanced certification through ARRT in ARRT-MR is required within 18 months of hire. BCLS certified within 90 days of hire date.
