We are currently looking to fill the position of Manager of Accreditation with an individual that possesses an understanding and versatility in the background, structure, policies, and procedures of accreditation programs with a strong technical emphasis in environmental and sustainability programs. ANAB operates multiple accreditation programs across a wide range of sustainability topics. This includes environmental management systems, supply chain management, stakeholder engagement, climate change, sustainable forestry and biomass, environmental labeling, etc. This position will have a significant role and direct impact on the assessment and accreditation activities of the ANAB-accredited certification and validation/verification bodies. This position can be based out of any ANAB location or Remote (work from home). Overnight travel is required, including both domestic and international travel. The responsibilities of this role will include both managing accreditation programs and actively conducting accreditation assessments of conformity assessment bodies to multiple international standards. Being an accreditation manager and assessor involves technical knowledge as well as a blend of skills ranging from project management to communication and analytical abilities. Including, but not limited to; Project and Time Management: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor accreditation processes effectively and efficiently in order to meet deadlines, while maintaining relationships with customers and other stakeholders. Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines governing accreditation processes in your field. Quality Assurance: Ensuring that accreditation processes meet high standards and are conducted impartially.
