JOB REQUIREMENTS: JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, recognizing, and providing stewardship for a portfolio of major giving donors (\$10,000+) and prospects. Responsible for cultivating relationships with, and providing excellent donor service to, Tocqueville Society members and Campaign Cabinet Volunteers who include many top community leaders and high-level donors. This primarily outward facing, results-oriented role will require the candidate to be a high-energy and inspiring leader who has the demonstrated ability to build strong, mutually beneficial relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism and discretion. Additionally, this role strengthens United Way\'s long-term sustainability by bringing a data driven and collaborative team approach to major gifts fundraising. With a strong alignment with United Way\'s culture and eco-system, this role is responsible for developing a pipeline of loyal donors who will continue to place United Way as their philanthropic partner of choice throughout their lifetime. PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES Essential job functions and expected performance standards include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors (\$10,000 +) that are a part of our Tocqueville Society inside and outside of workplaces. This is in partnership with the Major Gifts and Corporate teams. With direction from the Manager, Major Gifts, assist in developing strategies to recruit, cultivate and/or steward major giving donors and prospects. Set fundraising goals on assigned portfolio of prospects and donors as well as follow up to secure their giving. Manage the Tocqueville Society committee through recruitment and management, planning and execution of meetings, consistent communication, and timeline management. Manage assigned Tocqueville Society Cabinet members in their volunteer fundraising role. This includes advising, individualized support, tracking and prompting follow up, ensuring notes are updated, and other types of support based on each volunteer\'s needs.
