JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. As an IT Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for all IT-related goods and services within our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of IT equipment, software, licenses, and services while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of IT products and services, and a proven track record in procurement operations. Responsibilities: Purchase Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine IT procurement needs, create purchase requisitions, and develop procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Purchase Facilitating: Lead efforts to maintain inventory levels of IT goods, services, and materials on a regular basis. Ensure all products and services meet company standards. Budget Management: Monitor IT procurement budgets, track expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring adherence to allocated budgets. Compliance: Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procurement regulations, and legal requirements related to IT procurement activities. Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with IT procurement processes, including vendor reliability, product quality, and cybersecurity concerns. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, prepare reports, and provide periodic updates on procurement status, cost savings, and vendor performance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management, Certified Purchasing Professional) are a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in a corporate environment. IT Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT products and services, including hardware, software, licenses, cloud services, and emerging technologies. Procurement Skills: Demonstrated expertise in procurement strategies, supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost analysis. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
