Summary The IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance II professional will be responsible for maintaining a robust framework to manage systems and data risks. Key duties include: Conducting IT controls testing, evaluation, and documentation. Implementing and providing consultation on IT controls. Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the design and effectiveness of controls. Assessing information risks and addressing noncompliance issues to support informed decision-making. This role requires a commitment to high standards and a proactive approach to acquiring and enhancing relevant industry knowledge. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Support the execution of basic GRC tasks and projects. Assist in all aspects of IT controls testing and risk management related functions. Document findings from controls testing and compliance activities, aiding in the development of mitigation strategies. Collaborate with team members on GRC initiatives to achieve departmental goals. Work with stakeholders on remediation of control deficiencies. Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree with an emphasis in information systems or related field; or related work experience beyond the minimum required. 1-3 years of experience in information systems or systems audit with a demonstrated knowledge in technologies and processes. Ability to assess and implementIT general controls desired. Demonstrated flexibility to adjust to changing business needs by effectively managing and prioritizing concurrent assignments. Demonstrated ability to independently identify and resolve critical issues through effective problem-solving skills. Strong ability to develop and leverage relationships. Ability to effectively influence and negotiate with internal and external partners. Excellent communication skills focused on facilitation of meetings. Ability to deliver informative, well-organized documentation and ability to effectively communicate in difficult and/orsensitive situations. #LI-hybrid Compensation Range: Pay Range - Start: \$64,820.00 Pay Range - End: \$120,380.00 Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment.
