What you can expect in this position: Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor, performs assigned tasks and/or projects related to the area-specific internship. The Continuous Improvement Internship focuses on planning and achieving organizational initiatives, the basics of project management and cross-functional teamwork and providing analytic support for good financial stewardship. This internship provides the opportunity to learn how to develop goals, plans, and operational metrics for continuous improvement for operational departments, how to investigate new methodologies to advance a continuous improvement culture, and how to facilitate leadership teams on strategic planning initiatives.
