Description

Robert Half is partnering with a manufacturing organization in the recruiting for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive working environment, acting as a point of contact for all HR-related queries, and overseeing comprehensive HR functions. This role will take on true generalist responsibilities in their day to day as well as work with leadership on strategic initiatives.

This is a permanent placement opportunity offering a salary, annual bonus, health, dental, vision and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of bi-weekly payroll and perform reconciliations of payroll activities.

• Act as the main contact for all HR-related questions, complaints, and requests.

• Develop and implement organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Lead full cycle recruiting and staffing efforts to meet staffing requirements.

• Establish and maintain working relationships with all levels of staff, promoting open communication and feedback.

• Conduct investigations when required, provide coaching, and document findings.

• Lead and execute company recognition programs.

• Ensure compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of training matrices.

• Coordinate ongoing training for all staff, including yearly Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety trainings.

• Lead benefit orientations and open enrollment activities.

• Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires, including corresponding paperwork and administrative setup.

• Manage employee relations, including the development and retention of employees to support business needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience with true HR Generalist duties

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Human Resources or a business related field

• Knowledge of full cycle recruiting and hiring processes

• Proficient with full-cycle payroll processing

• Strong background in managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with labor laws

• Demonstrated ability to oversee benefit functions, including health insurance and retirement plans

• Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals

• Proficiency in using HR software and databases

• Professional certification in Human Resources would be a plus.
