Robert Half HR Generalist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves managing a spectrum of HR functions in a dynamic work environment. As an HR Generalist, you will be handling a variety of tasks, from recruitment and employee relations to performance management and HR policy development.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a focal point for employee inquiries and concerns, facilitating conflict resolution and providing guidance on performance management and disciplinary actions.

• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to interviewing and selection.

• Collaborate with different teams to create job descriptions and establish interview processes.

• Manage the onboarding process, ensuring seamless integration of new hires into the company.

• Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans and provide feedback on employee progress and development.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

• Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal requirements.

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to foster a compliant and productive work environment.

• Assist in the administration of employee compensation programs, including salary reviews and bonus structures.

• Support benefits administration, including open enrollment, employee inquiries, and vendor management.

• Maintain and optimize HR systems to improve data management and streamline HR processes.

• Identify training needs and coordinate the development and delivery of training programs.

• Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and company culture. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an HR Generalist

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge and experience in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with HRMS including but not limited to Ceridian, Dayforce, and Bamboo

• Experience with Google Suite applications

• Deep understanding and experience in Benefit Functions

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of Compliance and legal standards in HR

• Proven experience in Employee Relations

• Familiarity with FMLA and related employee leave policies

• Ability to uphold company policies and standards with a high level of professionalism

• Proactive approach to problem-solving and strong decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
