Job Summary This position is responsible for providing guidance, direction, and support to internal stakeholders of Harley-Davidson, Inc. and its affiliates, particularly legal guidance to Harley-Davidson Financial Services, Inc. and its subsidiaries (HDFS). This role requires experience in at least one of the areas relevant to HDFS, such as banking, consumer finance law, insurance, and financial services litigation. The position also provides guidance to legal support staff, manages outside counsel, implements tactics, policies, and procedures, and represents the Company with external stakeholders. Job Responsibilities Works proactively with operations staff and internal/external counsel to identify legal risks throughout the organization, with an emphasis on the consumer lending and loan servicing areas and helps to propose operational changes to mitigate risks and identifies operational issues that implicate consumer lending and servicing laws. Works with operations to implement process improvements intended to mitigate legal risk in a manner that both satisfies legal requirements and the business unit\'s objectives.
