ManpowerGroup Fire & Security Technician II in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Our client, a global leading building systems conglomerate, is seeking a Fire & Security Technician to join their team. As a Fire & Security Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, contributing to the safety and security of various environments. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Fire & Security Technician II

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Hybrid - mix of worksite/office and remote)

What's the Job?

  • Assist experienced personnel with solutions to systems problems, troubleshooting issues, and advising on resolutions.

  • Perform required commissioning documentation and provide accurate information for as-built documentation.

  • Adhere to safety standards and local and national codes, prioritizing employee and subcontractor safety.

  • Maintain appropriate local and National Security/Fire Industry Certifications.

  • Communicate proactively with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs.

What's Needed?

  • Understanding of core and third-party security/fire products, software, and systems/electrical technology.

  • Ability to monitor project execution and report problems or changes to supervisors or management.

  • Experience in completing paperwork and on-site documentation as required.

  • Willingness to engage in self-study to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications.

  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle for travel to job sites.
