Purpose The Director of Revenue Integrity is responsible for identifying and leading efforts to improve professional services revenue cycle with a primary focus on denials prevention, clinical documentation optimization, provider education, and professional services audits. The incumbent will direct projects to implement new solutions and drive process improvements, as well as lead teams regularly evaluating and communicating clinical revenue opportunities. The initial term for this position is 6 months. The position will be re-assesed at the end of six months to determine if it shall be extended or modified. Primary Functions Leads the Denials Prevention team with a focus on identifying denials trends and the timely response/resolution of coding correspondence and related denials. Leads the Clinical Documentation Improvement (Optimization) and Provider Education teams with a focus on optimizing Epic clinical documentation with templates and enhanced Epic functionality as it relates to charge capture. Leads Provider Education efforts including new provider onboarding and education (clinical documentation/coding/billing guidelines), and specialty-specific coding, billing & clinical documentation education programs. Leads the Professional Services Auditing team with a focus on coder audits & education, and provider audits. Develops and implements revenue integrity strategies, policies, and procedure to improve revenue cycle performance Collaborate with revenue cycle operations, compliance, and technology teams to identify and address revenue cycle improvement opportunities; Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics, identifying trends, and leading efforts to optimize revenue capture and reduce denials through collaboration with upstream business units. Ownership of RCM-related communications and regular performance reporting for Revenue Integrity focus areas Serve as subject matter expert on revenue integrity matters, providing auditing, education and training to staff and stakeholders as needed Preferred Schedule: Full-time role with expectations for coverage during core business hours and flexibility required as necessary to accommodate business needs.
