Job Description
Candidates are responsible for maintenance and fleet service on trucks, trailers, and semi-trucks. This includes performing mechanical repairs on hydraulics, air brake systems, clutch systems, pressure/water hoses, and air lines. Work involves disassembling motors, repairing or swapping out transportation refrigeration and cooling systems (HVAC) as needed. Previous experience and a willingness to learn are required, as well as familiarity with schematics and hand power tools.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and fleet service on trucks, trailers, and semi-trucks.
Conduct mechanical repairs on hydraulics, air brake systems, clutch systems, pressure/water hoses, and air lines.
Disassemble motors and repair or swap out transportation refrigeration and cooling systems (HVAC) if needed.
Utilize and interpret schematics and hand power tools.

Work Environment
Typical automotive or diesel tech shop environment which can be dirty in some areas. We offer three shifts: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm or 6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:30pm-10:30pm or 2:30pm-11pm), and 3rd shift (10:30pm-6am or 10:30pm-6:30am).
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
