JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description: Our great client in Downtown Milwaukee has an immediate opening for a Data Systems Engineer. If you are interested please apply with resume to [email protected]. The FinOps team has a data ingestion platform that is usable but in an immature state. Were looking for strong data engineers to harden and mature our system. Strong candidates would be database administrators with knowledge of cloud systems or systems engineers with very strong hands on data experience. This role will mostly consist of creating AWS Aurora Postgress data schemas and transforming data with AWS Glue to be passed on to other databases via AWS Step Functions. We expect candidates to be very strong with SQL and query optimization. Strong ETL knowlege and experience required. Spark experience could potentially substitute Glue requirement. AWS billing concepts and experience with the AWS Cost and Usage Report is a strong plus. 2+ years of experience required Downtown Milwaukee- 3 days a week Monday - Friday, no overtime, no weekends, no evening/night Team - Cloud Dev Ops Must haves - strong SQL and ETL. Extract, Transform, and Load data. Manipulate, analyze, and put it somewhere else. AWS Glue (Spark is okay) PowerBI and Terraform (nice to have) Team play, communication skills, presentation skills, problem solving, and critical thinking.
