Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Current Product Support (CPS) Engineer to join our team, focusing on both software and hardware projects that support our Shovel Engineering technologies. The role involves technical troubleshooting, hands-on support during installations, and ensuring optimal functionality of our equipment through engineering, troubleshooting, and optimization skills. Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in engineering from an accredited institution, preferably in Electrical Engineering. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information effectively. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects and document progress effectively. Self-starter with a sense of urgency and a commitment to achieving success. A strong desire to continually expand knowledge base as technology evolves. Key Responsibilities Perform and document software functional tests to ensure quality and reliability. Provide technical support to manufacturing and field engineers/technicians. Support existing product lines by participating in design activities and modifications of hardware and software. Collaborate with engineers from various disciplines to overcome technical challenges. Scale role and responsibilities based on individual experience and expertise. Travel Requirements Primary location: Milwaukee South Harbor Office. Up to 35% travel required, with some trips lasting up to three weeks for product installation, support, testing, and observationto customer sites (primarily mines). Travel includes commissioning new products and providing on-site support to ensure successful implementation.
