Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Designer to join their team. As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the tooling design for X-ray tubes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Designer

Location: West Milwaukee, WI 53219 (100% Onsite)

Pay Range: $41.00/hr

What's the Job?

  • Work with engineers to capture and produce designs that meet all product requirements for new or existing products.

  • Generate 3D design concepts and models in Creo Parametric, including assembly and detail drawing packages.

  • Manage and execute all aspects of tooling fixture design processes, from development to build follow-up and delivery.

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of engineering drawings and ensure conformance to design requirements.

  • Lead and participate in engineering and design reviews, serving as a design expert on the shop floor.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in tooling design and manufacturing processes.

  • Proficiency in Creo Parametric and Windchill PDM.

  • Understanding of ASME Y14.100-2017 and ASME Y14.5 standards.

  • Ability to perform tolerance stack-up analysis and fitment reviews.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members.
