Job Title: Accounts Receivable SupervisorJob Summary:
One of our clients in the manufacturing industry is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Supervisor (6 month contract-to-hire). The Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections. This role involves managing daily operations, implementing policies and procedures, and providing strategic direction to improve the accounts receivable process.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Accounts Receivable Staff: Lead and manage the accounts receivable team, providing guidance and support.
Invoice Processing: Oversee the generation and distribution of invoices to customers.
Payment Collection: Monitor and manage the collection of outstanding payments, including negotiating payment plans and handling delinquent accounts.
Record Maintenance: Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of accounts receivable records.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and collection metrics.
Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process.
Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer inquiries and disputes related to accounts receivable.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory position.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.
