Job Description

Job Summary:

Our team at Teledyne LeCroy develops leading edge test and measurement products. Engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next generation high-performance communication, consumer electronics and computer products.

We are looking for a self-driven and talented Production Build Analyst to join our Manufacturing team to produce high quality protocol test products. We are looking for disciplined, open minded, quick learner, and high contributor individual to join our team in Milpitas, CA.

You will participate in manufacturing effort to produce industry’s leading-edge test and measurement products for serial protocols technologies.

Detailed Description:

This position is a critical role within the Business Unit (BU) responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of a broad range of products. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with Operations staff and Supply Planning on product availability and on time shipments.

  • Effectively manage customers’ orders, needs and expectations through the order fulfillment process to ensure customer orders are processed timely and efficiently.

  • Participate in prioritization of product allocations to customer orders (internal and external).

  • Drives resolutions to issues which delay order shipments and meet on time delivery.

  • Assists with the management of critical stock issues, shipping conflicts, special requests from customers and product transitions to deliver orders on-time and complete.

  • Assists the Manufacturing Manager in maintaining build plan dashboards and recurring reports including updating weekly metrics and deliverables.

  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as required.

  • Assist in monitoring daily throughput and address any shortfalls to daily production plan.

  • Monitor product inventory to ensure supply is sufficient to meet plan, participate in regular material planning meetings. Inform management of shortfalls or projected shortfalls in materials.

  • Communicate and interact with planning, materials, and inventory teams to ensure timely order shipment.

  • Monitors fulfillment activities and proactively manages exceptions related to inventory shortages.

  • Assist in developing the production build plan and the daily execution of the plan.

  • Liaise amongst Sales, Operations, Manufacturing and Finance to ensure smooth and accurate processing of sales orders as part of the specified workflow in SAP (ERP)

  • Rationalizing forecast base on historical data

  • Collaborate with Planning, and Materials teams to drive supply according to demand.

Requirements:

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related discipline

  • Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience, Training, Skills, etc.

  • 5-8 years of work experience in overall order processing & inventory management, in particular finished goods Proficiency developing metrics planning. Strong working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets

  • Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills with experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

  • Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, or similar experience

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or BAAN (BAAN preferred)

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and product delivery processes.

  • Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines and handle competing priorities.

  • Organizational skills, high attention to detail , and superior time management

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills

  • The ability to assemble and synthesize large amounts of data into actionable recommendations.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Good judgment, self-confidence, and high energy to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range:

$74,800.00-$99,880.000
