Bureau of Naval Personnel MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Millington, Tennessee
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the MANPOWER AND MILITARY SERVICES DIVISION of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL. Responsibilities You will maintain the total force manpower management system for BUPERS and its subordinate activities. You will validate manpower requirements, authorizations, and end-strength data for BUPERS officer, enlisted, and civilian billets. You will identify and recommend changes to organizational billet alignments. You will prepare and update organizational charts that depict approved organizational structures and billet level detail. You will maintain mission, function, task instructions and related organizational documentation for all activities in BUPERS. You will manage Unit Identification Codes for BUPERS and ensures Organizational Change Requests are routed in accordance with applicable instructions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing manning/billet data and documents to provide personnel distribution recommendations to managers; 2) Utilizing DoD automated database systems (e.g., My Navy Assignment (MNA), Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS)) to develop and maintain manpower metrics; 3) Creating and managing data queries and programs to evaluate the effectiveness of personnel actions; and 4) Generating reports and developing formal briefings to present findings and results from studies/projects.
