Maintenance Technicians. Do you desire a good culture, where you enjoy the people, you work with? If so, check us out! ADS in Millington, where over 1/2 of its 50 plus members are 10-year veterans or more! We're looking to add a valued team member to our second shift team. Hours will be 3:00pm-11:30pm with overtime possible. If you have mechanical aptitude, understand how things work and enjoy challenges, we desire you on our team!

Position Responsibilities:

• Effectively diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments on mechanical / electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic equipment.
• Safely assemble, install and repair electrical / hydraulic / pneumatic components per schematics.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and unusual machine behavior and report to proper supervision.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to daily transport, lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs (with accommodation if needed)
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications/Capabilities:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year of technical training or maintenance-related work experience.
• Must have experience and/or training in machine repair, and electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Confident operation of digital multimeters, hand and power tools calipers, and other measuring instruments.
• Successfully complete all internal training requirements including RCRA, hazardous material handling, blood borne pathogens, fork lift and lockout/tagout training.

Preferred Qualifications/Capabilities:

• Associate's degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance or completion of a craft apprenticeship or,
• Some combination 3-5 years of technical training and/or maintenance-related work experience.
• Competency with 3 phase, 110v-480, PLC's and HVAC
• Combination of training and/or experience handling crisis situations and hazardous materials.
• Experience safely operating cutting torches/welding equipment or experience in wood and metal fabrication.
• Experience with humidification systems.
• Experience performing routine maintenance on gas-fired burners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
