Reference #: 4539825 THE POSITION The Department of Transportation is currently in search of a skilled individual to join their team as a Roadway Programs Technician 1 in Clinton County. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various technical duties that contribute to the review, analysis, and development of maintenance operations. Your work will align with the management objectives and department policies and procedures specific to Clinton County. While the position is primarily based in Clinton County, there may be occasions where your support will be required in Centre County as well.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK The primary responsibility of this role is to help analyze work plans to ensure that the program is well-balanced and that all the necessary resources, including labor, materials, equipment, and funds, are available to complete the work plans. Additionally, this position assists in making any necessary adjustments to the work plans as required.

Working under the guidance of the Roadway Programs Coordinator, this position provides support to upper-level management by assisting in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities. This includes collecting data from Assistant County Maintenance Managers to develop 213 Programs, Annual Work Plans, and Period Plans. Furthermore, it is crucial to accurately enter and maintain this information in the SAP Plant Maintenance System to ensure its integrity.

As part of the team, this role plays a vital role in ensuring that work plans are well-coordinated and that all necessary resources are available for successful execution. By assisting in the analysis and adjustment of work plans, this position helps maintain a balanced program. Moreover, under the supervision of the Roadway Programs Coordinator, this role supports upper-level management by collecting and accurately recording data in the SAP Plant Maintenance System, which is essential for effective planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Work hours will vary seasonally & are based upon operational needs Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Technical Assistant; or One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
