Child & Family Service Lead Licensed Clinician in Mililani, Hawaii

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

The Lead Licensed Clinician (LLC) is responsible for overseeing clinical programs and clinicians within this fast-paced non-profit behavioral health clinic. The LLC will maintain a caseload, provide supervision and consultation to clinicians, clinical team, and staff, and work with the Clinical Director to ensure evidence-based practices, including manualized treatment modalities and measurement based care are followed. Coordinate clinic staff professional development and training, intern/extern support, training enrollment, and evidence-based practice implementation oversight. Meet regularly with clinical team to staff caseloads and keep abreast of current issues. Work as liaison between Cohen Veterans Network and Child and Family Service to ensure that staff clinicians are providing treatment in compliance with established protocol and policy, and that metrics for episodes of care and utilization rates are managed effectively.


EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • Hawaii State licensure as a LCSW, LMFT, LMHC with CCMHC, Psy D or Ph D

  • A minimum three years' experience in a clinical setting

  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience


EXPERIENCE

  • Applicant must have the clinical skills for conducting brief and targeted assessments to provide psychotherapy interventions, health and behavior change, substance use treatment, and triage for appropriate level of care.
  • Experience working with the military population and diverse populations and providing treatment for PTSD highly-recommended.
  • Applicant must be able to multi-task, maintain an organized work environment, and be an effective communicator.
  • This is a full-time exempt position which requires day, evening, and weekend availability. Some travel may be required.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Experience working with adults, children, couples, families

  • Knowledge of DSMV diagnoses

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practice, including manualized treatment modalities and measurement based care

  • Experience with PTSD diagnosis and treatment

  • Experience working with military populations and/or veterans strongly preferred

  • National Board Certification in practice discipline

  • Ability to work day, evening and weekend shifts.
