MILFORD MINING COMPANY UTAH LLC Maintenance Team Lead in MILFORD, Utah
Classification Non-exempt Reports to Maintenance Manager Summary/Objective The Maintenance Team Lead position is responsible for supervising plant employees in a mining processing and production environment. This position plans and assigns and oversees highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives. Provide process employee coaching and development. 3. Resolve process employee issues through problem resolution, with the assistance of the Maintenance Manager and HR manager as required. 4. Balance Safety, Productivity, Quality, Cost and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. 5. Work to continuously improve in all areas. 6. Respond to emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment. 7. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of equipment. 8. Manage crew performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to process manager. 9. Perform all maintenance functions with crew members in coordinating duties and tasks. 10. Maintain proper inventory levels. 11. Manage crew priorities. 12. Track absenteeism and timekeeping. 13. Results Driven 7. Initiative Supervisory Responsibility This position supervises all Maintenance Technicians in their day to day tasks. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, 7 days on, 7 days off, Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7 PM. Day shift only. Overtime may be required as needed. Travel No travel is expected for this position. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience. • 4+ years of mining experience; strong hydraulic, mechanical and industrial skills. Preferred Education and Experience • Previous mineral processing production maintenance or process plant maintenance experience • Previous supervisory experience Work Authorization/Security Clearance Authorized to work in the United States.
